Membership is an important part of how The Friends supports the Library. Beyond being a significant part of our financial support for the Library, a strong membership gives us a strong voice when we speak up on matters that affect Marlborough's Library. Together we will be able to ensure that this major educational and cultural institution can continue to offer the very best service to our community.

Membership is a terrific way to support your local library and to be involved in your community. Through your membership, you promote a love of reading and learning, AND you actively participate in enhancing library programs and services.

Your support enables the Library to offer exciting programs and projects not supported by city tax dollars. You strengthen our numbers and therefore strengthen our voice as we advocate for the Library.

There are many ways you can donate to The Friends of the Marlborough Public Library.

  • Donate money for/from yourself.
  • Donate money in someone's memory.
  • You can give time by volunteering.
  • You can donate books and other materials for the Annual Book Sale, our major fund raiser.
